New film starring Pejman Bazeghi, Houman Barghnavard in making

New Iranian film ‘Blade & Termeh’ starring ifilm series stars Pejman Bazeghi and Houman Barghnavard is in the making.

Star of ‘Passing Through the Hardships’, Bazeghi, will team up with ‘Chimney’ star for the new offering from Iran cinema.

The film directed by Kiumars Pourahmad will also have actress Diba Zahedi as the female lead.

The flick is volatile and inflammatory feminine drama which has set to finish production before the star of 2019 Fajr Film Festival.

The director of ‘Blade & Termeh’ is well-known from series ‘The Stories of Majid’ (1991) originally produced for young audience.

Pourahmad has also directed other popular television series ‘Clue’ (1996) and ‘Open Parenthesis’ (2009-2010).

He won a Crystal Simorgh from the 14th Fajr Film Festival for directing ‘Strange Sisters’ (2005).
